Open House is a playful platform for youth where creative and energetic activities take place. It is a simple rectangular shaped, yet multi-directional open building that is embedded within the city’s growing infrastructure and neighborhood. The cross-sectional relationship of the skip floors is a key idea that helps the interaction between its users. The 20 meter long-span space maximizes freedom of building programs. Two service core towers located between public spaces at western facade to function as a formal evacuation and building services. In contrast, the east side of the long-span building is composed of informal spaces that play the ecletic functions of the youth center.
