Located along Gijang Beach, the café is envisioned as a place to dwell within nature, not just visit. Its composition of segmented volumes—arranged like a small village—establishes an organic relationship with both the surrounding environment and nearby buildings, while also meeting the site’s regulatory conditions.

The rounded, angle-free forms of each volume offer panoramic views of the sea and create a sense of spatial openness and continuity. This fluid configuration invites visitors to move seamlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces.

More than a conventional café, we propose a communal retreat—an open meeting place where people can linger, connect, and experience the coastal landscape in an immersive way.
