The Jilnal Wetland Center is conceived as an ecological platform connecting people, education, and nature. Under the concept of “Wetland Gateway,” the building, outdoor spaces, and ecological trails form a continuous journey from the entrance into the wetland. Four program volumes are connected beneath a single large roof, while courtyards and semi-outdoor spaces blur the boundary between architecture and landscape. The open L-shaped form faces the wetland, maximizing views while separating vehicles from pedestrian and ecological areas. Preserved trees, natural daylight and ventilation, timber construction, and a low-impact foundation system minimize disturbance to the site, creating an ecological hub where visitors can experience and share the value of Jilnal Wetland.
